INTRODUCING THE FASTFIX™ TRUSS SCREW SYSTEM

The Pryda FastFix™ Truss Screw System (PFTS) is designed for site fixing of tie-down screws for trusses or rafters to frames and beams.

The proprietary FastFix™ Truss Screw Guide (FTSG) positions the FastFix Truss Screw in the correct location for compliant installation every time.

The system complements Pryda SpeedTruss™ with site-based fixing of smaller trusses and rafters.

Where SpeedTruss is not used, FastFix enables a complete site-based tie-down system using precisely installed, high-capacity screws. This simplifies roof tie-downs, providing a safer, faster, easier, and fully compliant screw-based solution.

The propriety and patented guide positions the Pryda Truss Screw in the correct location and alignment for compliant installation every time.

FASTFIX™ TRUSS SCREW SYSTEM APPLICATIONS

1. COMPLEMENT to SPEEDTRUSS™

When using SpeedTruss™, the PFTS complements it, replacing Multigrips and other timber connectors in these applications:

Speedtruss 1 — Truss top chord extension or rafter over truncated horizontal top chord or beam

Speedtruss 2 — Truss top chord extension or rafter over truncated horizontal top chord or beam

2. TOP-DOWN FIXING

The PFTS can be used for direct top-down fixing of trusses to single or double top plates and is the preferred tie-down method if not using SpeedTruss.

3. UNDERSIDE FIXING

The PFTS can be used for underside tie-down for single or double top plates to truss in a range of applications below, plus applications listed on SpeedTruss page:
